My Musical Style

I compose contemporary classical music. My approach blends minimalism, neo-romanticism, and world music.

I began my musical journey when I was six year old studying classical music with cello as my primary instrument. When I was twelve years old, I added piano to my studies in order to better understand music theory. I went on to study music composition in college. Though my musical training has largely been in the classical sphere, I love to challenge myself with deep-dives into other genres of music to understand what makes them work.
